About This Scholarship

Our legal team at Georgia Personal Injury Lawyer is built on helping those around us. In the course of our careers, we’ve seen the impact that strong leadership can make. We believe that confident, caring, knowledgeable leaders have the ability to do more than just help others—they are a force that lifts up and inspires those around them.

That’s why we’ve chosen to offer the Georgia Personal Injury Lawyer Student Leader Scholarship. This is a $1,000 scholarship intended to support the education goals of a developing future leader. Our ideal recipient is a high academic achiever with a history of leadership and service.

We believe that good leadership can take many forms. We have seen leaders shine in many roles, including:

  • Organizing events, fundraisers, and activism around a good cause
  • Involvement in civic affairs and student government
  • Assembling and leading teams
  • Leadership in the workplace
  • A spirit of volunteerism and leading by example
  • Quiet leaders who plan and coordinate strategies that lead larger groups to success
  • Compassionate leaders who build relationships with others and inspire them to achieve more
  • Thought leaders who start movements and use their words or knowledge to change lives

Ultimately, there are as many ways to lead others as there are good causes. But what all leaders share, in our opinion, is a desire to help people do more—and become a better version of themselves.

If that description sounds like you, then we’d like to hear from you. We invite you to read the requirements below and apply for our Student Leadership Scholarship. All of us here ate Georgia Personal Injury Lawyer are excited to help a budding leader, and we look forward to reading your essay.

  • Please include a short essay (500 – 1,000 words in length) on the following topic:

Being a leader takes more than just a vision or goal; it requires a knack for coordinating other people and helping them work together. For most of us, this is the hardest part. What do you believe makes it so difficult for aspiring leaders to learn this skill? How did you first find yourself in a situation where you had to lead others, and how did you learn to organize and guide them? Are there things you know now, that you wish you had known back then?

We encourage you to draw on your personal experiences, and what inspired you to step into a leadership role in the first place.
